CD 1: This segment traces how he came to the U.S. and his exposure to Native American and African American music during the summer of 1893. The other influences on his music are also revealed. Some music and readings of his writings.
CD 2: In this segment, we hear comparisons of Dvorak compositions and Native American music he might have heard, readings from his diary (English translation), and about his return back to Czechoslovakia.
CD 3: In this segment, we hear about his life in Prague after the trip to America, his experience as conductor of the Prague conservatory orchestra, his compositions classes, and his death.
